Sellers want to customise Digital Sales Rooms for each sale. A competitor’s solution created bottlenecks because Photoshop and InDesign were required for common graphic design techniques. Waiting on a graphic designer frequently added days to the creation of a new Sales Room.
I delivered a template builder that let sales people customise a new Sales Room without waiting on a graphic designer, while marketing retained control over branding, layout, and visual design.
Approach
Rather than guess at features, I asked the customer for sample layouts they were creating, recreated them in Figma and mapped each part to a widget. That showed we needed only three new widgets for the demo. Custom fonts, content locking and other complex features moved to later phases.

Phase 1
I recreated the customer’s real Sales Room layouts in Figma and mapped every element to the existing builder or a proposed new widget. This made the product decision concrete: the first demo needed only three additions—Welcome, Image and File—rather than a broad customisation platform.
Phase 2
Pre-existing designs were used to improve the builder, but more polish was needed.

Whole sections or individual widgets can be locked, preventing modification when sales rooms are created.
Phase 4
Content managers can create palettes of colours that can be used in templates.

Outcome
Using section-based layouts, we added three new widgets (Image, File, Welcome) to meet real customer layouts.
